Solutions to end homelessness take time. Until then, let's help the homeless stay warm!
The coldest months are usually around November through February, depending on what area of the country you live in. During this time, the meteorologists always remind us to bring in our animals to keep them warm and safe. One night in December 2006, I was listening to this report and looked over at Weiner and Ginger (my dogs) lying on their doggy beds by the fire place and thought, what about the homeless! Until we walk in someone else's shoes, it would be next to impossible to understand how they got to where they're at.
